TV Themes
A theme tune can make or break a TV programme. A successful show not only has to be an enjoyable watch, it also needs to have a memorable brand. From the montaged titles to the catchy tune, constructing these opening titles is a fine art. The biggest compliment you can give to the more accomplished ones is that they are still remembered years after the show concludes. Broadcasters such as Netflix have added the option to skip the opening sequence, and it's a testament to some shows when skipping is the last thing viewers would want to do. Currys undertook some research to find the country’s 10 favourite TV theme tunes. Eastenders came second.
